Pathways
RTI Donor Services participates in the Pathways program, which is a unique way for tissue recipients to express through a letter their gratitude to their donor’s family for the gift they received.
To maintain confidentiality, the tissue recipient’s and donor family’s identities are not shared. The program also:- Provides a way for tissue recipients to express how the gift of tissue donation has impacted their lives in a very positive and personal way.
- Provides education to patients and the general public about the benefits of the gift of tissue donation.
If you are a tissue recipient who has received a Pathways brochure, you may send a letter by mail as instructed in the brochure, or you may visit www.1000thanks.org to submit your letter electronically.
