The Starlit Memories Donor Family Quilt is a labor of love, created as a tribute to generous tissue and eye donors by their families. Quilt squares show each donor's unique talents, interests and character traits. Sue Vollbrecht-a Madison, Wis. quilt maker since 1976-wove 21 quilt squares into a celestial background as a permanent memorial to these 21 special people. Sue offers her skills both professionally and as a volunteer for Madison area quilt service projects and fund-raising efforts.
