Forget Me Not Memorial Donor Family Quilt

The Forget-Me-Not Memorial Donor Family Quilt is a labor of love, created as a tribute to generous tissue and eye donors by their families. Quilt squares show each donor's unique talents, interests and character traits. Lois Jarvis—a Madison, Wis. fiber artist since 1971 specializing in patchwork and quilting—wove 15 quilt squares into a permanent memorial to these 15 special people. Lois mixes her love of working with found objects, fabric, traditional quilting techniques, computer technology and the sewing machine, to create fiber works with emotional content.
