Coalition Organization (NATCO) - the membership association of health
care professionals working in organ and tissue donation and transplantation.
Donate Life America -
a not-for-profit alliance of national organizations dedicated to inspiring all
people to donate life through organ and tissue donation.
United States Department of Health
and Human Services - leading America to better safety, health and
well-being.
Association of Organ Procurement
Organization (AOPO) - represents and serves organ procurement
organizations through advocacy, support, and development of activities that
will maximize the availability of organs and tissues and enhance the quality,
effectiveness, and integrity of the donation process.
United Network for Organ Sharing
(UNOS) - a non-profit, scientific and educational organization that
administers the nation's only Organ Procurement and Transplantation Network.
Center for Disease Control &
Prevention (CDC) - serves as the national focus for developing and
applying disease prevention and control, environmental health, and health
promotion and education activities designed to improve the health of the people
of the United States.
Food & Drug Administration
- responsible for protecting the public health by assuring the safety,
efficacy, and security of human and veterinary drugs, biological products,
medical devices, our nation's food supply, cosmetics, and products that emit
